The Direction
My love for design started the same way my love for travel did — with curiosity. I’ve always been drawn to new places, new perspectives, and the small details that shape how people experience the world. Whether I was rearranging spaces as a kid or navigating unfamiliar cities, I was constantly observing, questioning, and imagining how things could feel clearer, smoother, or more meaningful. Curiosity has always been my compass.
I began college in nursing, believing healthcare was where I was meant to make a difference. But over time, I realized something felt missing. While I valued the science and structure, I found myself more energized by understanding patient experiences than performing clinical tasks. I wanted to think creatively, to solve problems differently. Nursing wasn’t wrong — it just wasn’t the full picture of how I wanted to help people.
The Detour

Out of curiosity, I enrolled in a UX design class and everything shifted. Homework felt less like assignments and more like exploration. I changed my major to User Experience Design and added a Health Science minor, determined to blend empathy, human behavior, and thoughtful design. Today, I design with that same curiosity that once guided my travels — building healthcare platforms and digital tools that help people move forward with clarity and confidence.

My Approach
Principles that guide my journey
Clear Paths Build Trust
Design should guide people where they want to go without making them stop and think. If users feel oriented and confident, they’re more likely to trust what’s ahead.
Walk in Their Shoes
Walk in Their Shoes
My background in health science taught me how deeply context matters. I begin by understanding the user’s world so the experience feels natural, respectful, and human.

Design is a Conversation
Design is a Conversation
The strongest ideas come from collaboration. I value feedback and open dialogue to make sure the design reflects both the user and the team behind it.
